Also, I have high speed internet, would I have to buy a router to hook up to the box, and if so what kind should I buy?

You'd have to get a wireless router to use WiFi.

I have the older version of this router and it's great. Pretty simple to set up and protect from unwanted neighbors using.

It comes with a 4250, so don't expect game performance to be any good, even though its a solid chipset.

My guess is that the cells are 6x1900ICR(11400), and if you wanted to hack the cellpack, you could get 6x3100ICRs(18600) in there to bump the battery from 4.75 to 7.2 hours on it's existing consumption rating.

That is the going "best price" for that laptop, so if you get it at staples or order it from newegg, the price is the same.

The Phenom II X2 N660 w/ the 4250 outperforms the Intel i3 380 with Intel HD graphics by a slim margin, and it's behind the i5 480 by a slim margin, which costs about $50-100 more for the same specs. I only say this, because that's your price-line competitor.

Other than that, there ya go. The router EYT suggested is good. Linksys has the same one that you can find for about $10 less, same chipset ect(Cisco owns linksys.)

If you're just using for a cheap computer that you don't plan on looking up porn and visiting all kinds of chinese websites (or the double-whammy...Chinese Porn...) then just go to wal-mart and pick up the cheapest computer they have. I have a Compaq Presario I got from Wal-Mart a month ago for under $300 and it's been golden. I have the same router EYT does, and it's def solid. You can pick up that computer and that router @ walmart and spend less than $400 after taxes.

Staying at home. I'm going to community college for 2 years. Still unsure whether or not I should be a journalist or a teacher.

I ended up buying it today at Staples. I cringed when I slid my debit card through.
