The reel is a Daiwa Ballistic 3000, with 30 pound SuperSlick braid, and the rod is a Okuma Reflections.
I had my mind made up going into the tackle shop that I was going to buy a Shimano Ci4, but the salesman showed me the Ballistic and told me about it and I ended up going with it. I'm a big Shimano fan, so I hope the Ballistic doesn't let me down.
