I Just Saw A UFO (No little green men though)

So I'm out walking my dog tonight in a field by my house. I see a shooting star. Pretty common here. I see several a year just walking at night. Look up to see if I can catch another shooting star and I see a flash of light. I'm thinking cool, another shooting star, but I had just caught it late in it's path. Well I keep looking at that spot and see another flash. So I watch that sight for maybe 5 minutes and see multiple flashes every 15 seconds or so. First off I think this is a satellite. Well, the thing did not move for 5 minutes. So it wasn't a plane or a moving satellite. Maybe a stationary one?

Anyways the basic characteristics are this:

1. Flashes around every 15 seconds or so.
2. Two types of flashes. One was bright and lasted a split second. The other was dull and would take a second to appear and a second to disappear. There was no real pattern between the dull and bright flashes. Same color too.
3. It did not move.... at all. I stood there and watched one spot in the sky for a good five minutes.
4. Lastly, and this is what was weirdest.... the last flash was a line instead of a spot. All the other flashes were just a pinpoint. The last one was about an inch long in a line and then I didn't see shit after that.

I'm not high. Not drunk. I'm not saying I saw ET. I'm sure there is a perfectly logical explanation for this but I have to say it was really weird.

I'm not one to jump to the "it was an alien" answer. It really was something I've never seen before though. I thought about recording it on my phone but the camera is way too shitty on that thing. I couldn't even get good pictures of the blood moon. And this was just small flashing lights.

I know lol, its just funny... the people on Ancient Aliens in particular jump to the Aliens card on everything....

Yeah its also possible it was a cat.... or a mole person.... or a dog.... or Bigfoot.

They crack me up... IS IT POSSIBLE.... followed by ideas that are often very improbable.

Strange stuff OP. I do believe that aliens exist, I just don't know if they've reached earth yet. If you believe that space is infinite, then there would literally have to be other forms of life out there.

I've heard other theories say that aliens have reached earth but that they're simply watching us from afar as if we're zoo animals. That would give some explanation to the countless UFO sightings.

which way did the line head?

ive seen various high orbit flashes that left a flashing line.. like something shot off into a direction.. most of the time they headed in a direction of known air forces bases or naza.

over my life time ive seen 20-30 ufos.. ive always thought them to be classified military/government crafts myself. i do believe there are aliens out there somewhere too.. maybe they control us now.. who knows.
