but I just cant. The Bulls could and should be doing the same thing and there not. Those teams are just making big time moves. Especially teams in the big markets can be doing it, like the Bulls. Seeing what the Lakers gave up to get Paul, I think the Bulls could give up Joakim, Luol and a 1st for Dwight Howard. Throw in a 3rd team and the trade is even easier.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
We weren't far off last season. We aren't far off now. IDK why everyone buys into the hype of star-power. We aren't playing old school NBA Jam, where 2-3 players are everything. You need a mix, a balance. Sometimes you can't just trade away your team for 1 star player. Sometimes chemistry and experience makes all of the difference in the world between a title and just being everyone's preseason favorite.

The Lakers haven't landed Howard yet, and if they don't, I'm not sold that they improved by trading Gasol and Odom away for Paul, when the league is going to be over-run with stud point guards in a few years. Now the Lakers are stuck with Paul, or they rent Paul and that's it.

Agreed. The front office is scared of the labor in which putting up multiple banners would cause.

Don't hate the Lakers for making a trade. Hate the Heat for how they did it all. Lakers been making moves throughout existence.

I rather the Bulls build a team and continue to not participate in trying to be paper champions like so many teams are striving to be now.

true, heat didn't win. Different sports but yankees and red sox did not win last year. Another sport but the "dream team" eagles didnt win. Its all about role players and gelling together.

The Bulls are a good TEAM. They play with each other.Thats why they need to sign the right fit.
