I’m thinking it’s a scam because whenever I try to see what’s actually in my iCloud, it show exactly nothing but says it’s 3.8 gb used of 5.0 gb. It then asks if I want to pay for more storage. I want to view what’s in there to see if I have it backed up on dvd and just delete the data.... frustrating
I just turn it off. With a wife and 4 kids on the same icloud account, of course it's full and was never much use to me. kept my backups on the IMAC cause if I did it from the cloud, I'd get all their stupid contacts and crap.
But do you know how to actually see what’s in your cloud. You know to see if if actually almost “full”?

Usually gets full from the photos which has a setting you can change so it doesn't store photos and you can then just save them to your PC, Mac or whatever. Backups count against it too so if the expected space for the backup requires more space than you have available in icloud you'll get the message that it's full regardless of what, if anything, is there.
