Noah,Asik and about 15 future first round draft picks

honestly you dont have to many trade assets to aquire a Dwight Howard.(unless of course he demands to play only for chi town ala Melo in NY.

Deng and Boozer arent very good pieces for the Magic to rebulid with. I would think the Magic would perfer young talent and draft picks like the Dwill trade.

How are they going to get rid of Turkoglu and Arenas with their massive contracts. How is it that they can legitimately talk about rebuilding with that kind of payroll? Arent they building a new arena? Who's paying for it? Are the owners taking on debt? If so, paying Turkoglu and Arenas while enduring some pitiful seasons while rebuilding could really put the owners in a bad place.

Yeah itll be really hard for em to rebuild with all those bad contracts, Id say theyd have to take Noahs contract or Boozers for sure, to make it work, but then, thats not exactly rebuilding,....for a second here i thought the bulls season was over, lol, I want DHoward w/DRose

Noah doesnt score enough. Boozer and Asik and a lot of draft picks make sense.

SG- ?
SF- Turkoglu
PF- Boozer
C- Asik

This isnt bad. Add someone OK at SG and it could be competitive.

There are 3 variables that stand out, before I even consider the NBA2K pretending/dreaming of what can happen.

#1. Does he clearly want to come here as his first or second option.

#2. Will the new CBA move to an NHL style cap?

#3. Will the new CBA include PED and HGH testing? I am skeptical of Howard being 100% natural. I don't believe he abuses any PEDs, but many players have been suspicious of his possible usage. I am not accusing him of being a cheater, but I have to question whether or not a team can win and be respected for winning with if he were to get caught.

I'd scratch Rose off of the team roster, and tell them to pick any 5 and name the amount of draft picks. They won't want Bogans or Brewer or Korver....and we'll keep two of Booz/Noah/Asik/Taj...

Yeah, I agree, but I don't think they'll take both Booz AND Noah...I think they'd take one of them and one of the other two....I probably should've clarified that a little better, my bad.

You said 2 of Boozer, Noah, Taj, and Asik. That leaves open the possibility of Taj and Asik being the 2 of 4, except that wouldnt work because of salary. Orlando has to be over the cap right now. Its hard to imagine that theyre not with the payroll they have. So, theyd have to match salaries, which would require them taking on either Boozer's or Noah's contract. It couldnt work with Asik and Taj. Boozer and Asik does the most in terms of replacing the scoring and rebounding they'd be losing in Howard.

BTW, Im not so sure the Lakers wouldnt be able to give them a more attractive offer.

What I meant (but didn't type for whatever reason) was one of Noah/Boozer, and one of Asik/Taj.

i honestly don't know. That would leave us ultra-thin at the top, and would give them 4 guys that could start at the top. I think the Magic would rather have some guards than 3 bigs and Deng...I could be wrong tho.

HAH! I wouldn't trade Thibs alone for SVG and Howard. Too many headaches. SVG needs to take a vacation from basketball.

It depends on Dwight's list of teams. I dont think its even realistic simply from the standpoint that it doesnt seem like he wants to come to Chicago based on whats being reported, which, admittedly, could be wrong.

But having said that, Orlando's not really going to get equal value with the possible exception of a trade for Gasol or Bynum.
