I was really excited when he first got hired but that excitement now has waned. I guess it all comes down to not being a fan of the bend but do not brea defense. I will not disagree that he is a superior coach compared to the previous defensive coaches the bears had prior to him, but again that is not saying much. I have lsot count of how many games the other team has gone on long time consuming multiple drives in the second half of a game. I would rather be more aggressive and go down swinging-maybe I have to much Buddy Ryan in my blood. I hated the cover two the last 4 or 5 years that Lovie had it with the Bears and I hate watching these long drive in the second half. I hope I eat crow and say we can't lose him but I do not see that happening. I find it amazing that with the half our super star had that we could not hold on to a 20 point lead-pretty amazing. Hopefully he proves me wrong this year.

I would be upset but ultimately would wish him well as that's a human advancing his career path.

They should replace him with UGA's DC. He's coached Roquan Smith, Leonard Floyd and Eddie Jackson (at Alabama) already. Pretty sure he also has some NFL experience.

Fangio will never get a HC offer. For obvious reasons.

I would only be upset if Nagy decided to bring in a 4-3 DC...

It happens good coaches leave, Nagy doesn’t seem to have a big ego .probably bring in the best coach available.

In before Mojo once again reminds us that Fangio sucks and Bears should have grabbed Mike Pettine and let Fangio walk blah blah bla bla blah blah blah Fangio doesn't blitz enough...defense is boring to watch bla bla.

not ideal but I wouldn’t be worried at all about it. With the talent we have on defense naggy/pace would really need to fuck up a hire for it to have a negative impact

Fangio seems like he's stuck in his ways and not really a people person. I don't think he even wants a head coaching job.

Defensive coaches will be back in favor after enough of the young offensive coaches end in total disaster.
