LOL

The colts would still have his rights (his deal went through this upcoming season) if he did, even though he' already turned down Irsay prior to trading for Wentz. Even if he were a FA, it would take more than 'scraps' to get said all pro QB out of retirement.

I love this time of year on the CCS Bears boards.

He is not getting into the HOF with his current resume.......but why would he want to come here and get beat up like he did in Indy?

What does Chicago really offer him? He would be looking for a team that is ready to win with a QB upgrade, like Brady did.

I like the title of the thread, made me laugh.

But Luck would demand top dollar and why would he go to a team with OL issues?

I would beg Andrew Luck to come out of retirement. The Bears would get a All Pro QB for scraps.

What IF Andrew Luck has no interest in coming back, like he has stated. Then the Bears are dumb for that? Don't you think NFL teams have reached out to Andrew Luck, don't you think the Colts......who badly needed a QB may have reached out to Andrew Luck??

And since the Colts now DO have a monster OL, if he’s turned them down, he ain’t interested in playing again.

Why do all the dumbest ideas come with the pre-disclaimer "Ya know, if 'x' was smart...."

making the playoffs doesn’t make you a contender. i.e. 2020 Chicago Bears
Making the playoffs does make you a contender. That’s literally the definition of being a contender. However, some contenders are a lot worse (2020 Bears) and the path to victory is a lot harder or near impossible.
