What do you mean stop it? If he doesn't mean tank...he means trading one of his best players. That is also newsworthy, and I am sure Rose, Deng and others would have been asked about it.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
If we really wanted to tank, GarPax would fire Thibodeau.

Well we're not going to tank, so its kind of a mute discussion. Also if Paxson is going to trade players for draft picks, I'm okay with that. I don't know who he could trade since Deng is an FA though. Unless Deng is moved to a bad team at deadline for their draft pick, but I can't see a team doing that given what great hope there is in the 2014 draft.

John Paxson will make a blockbuster trade for Kevin Love.
And he will sign Lebron James this summer.
The Bulls will win the championship every year until 2020.
John Paxson and Gar Foreman will go down as the most creative, most active, and most dedicated dynamic duel of Front Offices in the History of franchises.
By 2015, PaxGar wont be able to keep the phones from ringing off the hook by superstars calls lined up wanting to sign here.

Regardless of the Bulls slow start- I'd still put the over/under on them at 55 wins this year.

The only way they'd get inside the top 5 is by dealing for a lottery pick...the only way they could conceivably do that is if they would deal Rose for it- which absolutely positively won't happen.

The Bulls could still get help from this loaded draft however IF the Bobcats wind up with the 11th pick, which the Bulls could take ownership of. If Gary Harris were somehow there...I wouldn't blink on taking him. He's listed at 6'4'', but he looks to have an incredibly quick first step as well as a long wing span (measured at 6'7'' from what I've read).

Harris sliding in at the 2, moving Buckets to the 3, letting Lu walk, amnestying Boozer, bringing Mirotic over and finding a way to get a capable backup big man would be an ideal off-season.....after we win the championship of course.

Do we have cap room for a player that will prove to be better than one of our starters? Unless we package mitotic Deng and bobcats pick we aren't moving up in the draft. I still want to trade for love or LA
