The Bulls are officially out of the championship run for the next 6 years no matter who they will trade or draft..

Nets-Heat and Oklahoma will dominate the league.

Trade all players for future picks and tank till 2018. Then sign Durant. Good or bad idea?

There is nobody available on earth whom you can get to match their talent.

Howard is a championship caliber team on his own. It is a matter of time until he combines his talent with a great PG or SG to win championships. Deron is fine.
OKC have signed all of their core players for 6 years and they will only get better.
Heat won't last so many years but they will be a hard to beat team for the next 6 years too and the title favorite for the next 2 years.

You either deal with it or be a playoff team with ECF as the ceiling for the next 6 years without getting high picks every year.

The only guy on earth who could beat them is now the Bobcats owner and he is too old.

Does anyone here believe that Rose can beat them on his own? The only advantage the Bulls had was the deep roster and an above average player in every position. Now they will all have a deep roster, an above average player in every position AND 2 or 3 superstars each.

You either wait till then or give the Magic everything they want for Howard and if Howard signs with the Nets next year, at least you tried your best and there is a HUGE possibility of winning a championship in the meanwhile.

If the Nets get Howard, I would give them about 3-4 years of serious contention. Gerald Wallace and Joe Johnson are going to decline and their depth is an issue.

Who gives a ****? They will have the best and only real superstar Center in the league paired with an all star level PG. This is enough.

But in case it isn't when JJ and Walace's contracts will end they will have about 35mil of cap space free!!! Enough to land a 3rd superstar and 2 more solid players.

Do the Nets have serious talent? Yes, but Derrick Rose is better than Deron Williams in my opinion. You don't know the future and cannot say for sure that the Nets are a lock to beat the Bulls in 2018 even if they still have Dwight Howard and Deron Williams.

How do you know they can't mesh together? Lin-Melo-Amar'e-Chandler haven't even had ONE full off-season together yet. This is their first. After this season we can properly pass judgement on if they can mesh together or not.
