Dallas actually isn't that bad, but I still think the Hawks will win.

How much did Dallas lose from last year? They finished in 9th, correct? Fought until the last day and would've made the playoffs if they beat Minnesota?

Yes. They gift wrapped the Hawks a spot by losing to the Wild.

I've seen them marked as 13th most likely this season.

A lot on the shoulders on Erickson and Benn to help replace the offensive loss of Richards to NY.

<s class="hash">#</s>Blackhawks have recalled forward Brandon Pirri from the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.

You would have to think that this means Bolland is going to be out for the opener.

I still wish we would have experimented with Pirri at center with Hossa, a little too late now and Kane looked good enough anyways.

EDIT: Just read that Bolland practiced with the Dmen today, Pirri centered Frolik/Bolland, and Smith is doubtful for the game tomorrow. So...I have no idea what is going on!

Thanks. :)

I knew they lost Richards. I figured that would hurt them quite a bit and Langenbrunner and Williams leaving as well doesn't help. Hope the Hawks impress. A 2-0 start would be great.

Let's go :blackhawks:!
