Hawks should have Razor in net, yeah?

Anyways, Hawks have a tendency to handle Cal Gary pretty well. I imagine Bourque will pot one... I lump him with Vrbata and Aucoin (ugh) as guys that just love to play well against the Hawks. Thankfully if Bourque want's to get physical with Kane again, the Hawks have a few guys that can straighten him out.

If the Flames were smart, they'd come out like the Blues and Canucks and set the physical tone early.

Whatever the case, I like the Hawks. I hope that power play 2 line sticks together and snags another goal. They're a real no-bullshit group. Sharp will score too.

Our two goals scored tonight were the first goals those players (Keith and Seebs) have scored all season.

Emery was very solid especially in the 1st period. His performance in the 1st period kept the hawks in the game and could have been a different outcome.

Fantastic game by Emery. Should have been one of the 3 stars... **** Jokinen that creepy looking bastard.

Nice game by Sharp and of course Hossa yet again.

Carcillo's stickwork on #15 was awesome.

Yeah carcillo was smart to not engage and draw a fighting major in that situation.

I thought everybody played solid. Bickell was more physical and stood out a bit tonight

Weak IGT... Stalberg beasting it up, and Kane having a season to kill all the haters.

Up and Down game by a lot of Blackhawks. Some played very well and some were terrible.

Emery played great. He has played in 4 games and helped the Blackhawks earn 7 out of 8 points...it doesn't get much better than that. And to think one of the experts here wanted Salak over Emery after watching 120 minutes of pre-season hockey...

Kane is looking phenomenal. We do not need a second line center. Kane with the puck on his stick that much is absolutely deadly. We probably could use another top 6 winger, but Kane/Toews up the middle is deadly and Toews will learn to play without Kane.

I think the line of Stalberg/Toews/Hossa is working out great. All guys have good speed, size, and work hard in the corners. I even saw Stalberg pull up in the offensive and use his head more than his feet at times - exactly what he needs to do.

Carcillo had a great game. Drew two penalties, played on the edge, and continued to show some nice skill on Kane's line.

Kruger is taking advantage of being a 3rd line center. He is showing more confidence and poise with the puck.

Seabrook/Keith back together just feels so right and both have played great in the last two games.

Leddy/Hjalmarsson is looking good as well.

Now to the bad...

Montador/Scott were brutal. Scott was actually better than Montador. At times the turnovers were god awful. At times these two were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Our #5/6 have to have a calmness to them, I'm not a fan of this pairing at all.

Brunette is invisible on the 4th line. Just might be the way it is for a while. I still would love to see him with Kane - because Kane doesn't rely on speed necessarily.

Olesz isn't looking good at all. Hard for him to find his identity on this team and I don't know what the future holds for him and his contract.

Bickell played another very poor game in my eyes. No urgency and he didn't play gritty at all. Also, he didn't play very smart with the puck on his stick. I know he registered 6 hits - but most of them seemed to be ineffective and 2 seconds after a pass - really worthless hits in my eyes.
