Get ready for the onslaught of cliches tonight. Playoff-like atmosphere. Potential Stanley Cup Final preview. They're going to be everywhere, and they're not entirely out of place when you have two franchises responsible for 5 Cups in the last decade on the ice. No shortage of star power on the ice wearing black or white tonight. The question is whether or not the teams live up to the billing. Chicago has seemingly been in cruise control for the last few weeks and it's cost them in a few games against lesser opponents. Pittsburgh still has plenty of playoff seeding to fight for, so on the surface this game looks more important to them. But the Hawks have a penchant for rising to the occasion in a matchup like this late in the season. The last Hawks/Pens game at the UC was one of the most enjoyable regular season games I can recall. Sign me up for another one tonight.
LET'S GO HAWKS!!
