Hey atleast Pause got his 2nd of the year (wrong goal, but he did score). How this guys keeps starting is be on me, he brings NOTHING to the table? It's amazing that people on bigsoccer are saying that our midfield went down hill once Pause was subed out. What exactly did we do with him in there? If it wasn't for our defenders I think we wouldn't of had a shot on goal the whole game. I wish Klopas had some BALLS and put this guys on the bench where he belongs, might as well put Johnson there also. Johnson could make that one or two great saves, but that's about it.

I can't wait for Rolfe to be healthy and in the starting 11, if Pause is still in there and neither Pappa, Nyarko or Pardo goes to the bench instead then **** this season and Pause will NEVER be replaced in the starting lineup. I don't care if he's the nices guy in the world like everybody says, but if you're not helping the team win, get OFF the field.

I'ts amazing how much we SUCK at dead ball set pieces, it's been 6 or 7 years of this crap. We can't score on them and we can't defend them, are we practicing them at all.

Frank I can't wait to see what you do, this could make or break the season. Take your BALLS out of your wife's purse and put him on the bench.

Exactly. I don't care how nice of a guy he is, if there are better options available then the guy goes to the bench. Being nice doesn't win soccer games.

No idea... just played bad, got a lot of yellows, Pause played, and Portland got way to many corners.

watched the 2nd half...

that 2nd portland goal seemed to totally kill the fire...they seemed resigned to losing IMO

Small field, bad bounces, big crowd. That's really all it boils down to. Granted, I couldn't see a lot of what everyone is complaining about from the little corner they had us tucked away in.

I don't see why the hell there's any blame on Johnson coming through here, because the first goal was just horrible defending, and the second was, well, a bad bounce. No goalie could react to the deflection in that time.

Agree, Defense isn't strong without Gibbs or Friedrich
