That's a lot of turnaround for Kerhsaw. This is his third start in 10 days with a relief appearance thrown in. He might be able to pitch well but I just don't see his curveball/fastball having the same life that it usually does.

I think you have to get to him early because I assume that if the rest/save was going to impact him, it would be that he comes out a little flat in terms of stuff and feel. If you can get to him early (which also settles down Kyle), I feel you have a much better shot.

Going to be imperative to Kyle that he keeps the ball out of the hitting zone for the Dodgers. Also might see a move where Wood comes in to face Gonzalez, then Reddick is lifted for Puig, Cubs go to a hard right hander, then Cubs go back to Montgomery for Pederson/Grandal/Toles/PH/Utley/Seager.

If the wind is blowing out, it's way less wind than last night. What I mean by that is it might not hurt a flyball but you won't see a routine flyball like Either end up with a HR.

Still surprised they're throwing Kershaw tonight. It's a huge gamble: If you're the Dodgers, you feel OK about heading back to LA down 0-2 with Kershaw starting on normal rest at home. You don't feel very good about heading back to LA down 0-2 with Kershaw having lost and maybe never starting again in the series. In fact, that pretty much would be the series.
