Wish I had a sweater. I have one of those ones from China where the Indian head is grey and it looks like shit.

Craw in goal

Hayes returns

I imagine he'll be playing, they wouldn't call him up from Rockford to sit the bench.

I wonder if Scott gets the hook from the lineup for his dumbass penalties yesterday. Frolik or Morrison should probably be skating.

Shaw and Hayes is a clear switch out

dont think Colombus has anyone real 'dangerous' or big that he can scrap with...I could be mistaken

I promise that I'm not directing this argument at you, because you're admitting your fault.

But I fucking despise all of those Chinese knock-off jerseys. Every single one of them. There is always something wrong with them. The colors may be off, the font for the names may be off, the numbers may be off, hell I've even seen a few where the Indian Head is so crooked the nose is almost pointing at a 45-degree angle from where it should be. If you want a hockey sweater, save up the cash and by the real thing from a real source. If not, throw down for a few T-shirt jerseys of your favorite player. I'm pretty sure you can even customize those to whatever player you want. I don't think anyone looks down on you for rocking the T-shirt jersey. But if you're wearing one of those knock-off jerseys, know that when I sit behind you at the game I'm considering the many different ways that I could murder you.

That's just the uniform purist in me.

I've done the math, and I posted this on Twitter, wanted to share it here:

It's now cheaper to drive to Columbus and see the Blackhawks play rather than seeing them at the UC. Crazy.

If you have never had glass seats than you have to experience it once for sure! It shows the true supreme skill the NHL Players have, and it is quite amazing. For a genuine awesome full length view of the game, center Ice either in the comcast box or right below.

Take a group of four. Keep in mind that Blackhawks tickets are sold out (from what I've seen), so you're going second hand through Stubhub or other services like that to get the tickets.

Tickets to get into the UC, 300 level, $60 each. $240. Add in parking fees, which is $20, and you're looking at $260 just to get in the building, which is $65 each.

Columbus you can get 300 level (actually 200 level there, but you get the point) seats for $20 each (probably $15, actually). $80.
Last time I was there, we parked at a parking garage nearby for $10.
It's a 700-mile roundtrip from Chicago to there, which I can get on two tanks of gas in my '04 Dodge Stratus. Two tanks of gas, filling up in Indiana where I live, is roughly $100 ($50 each).

That means a grand total of $190 just to get in the building on Columbus, or $47.50 each. And I probably oversold on the ticket prices, I've seen some for as low as $12 each.
