Not good enough.

Hawks win I say, they seemed to outplay Vancouver after the 1st period, but didn't get the results. You aren't always going to hit the goal post 4 times without scoring once.

Um, the Canucks hit the pipe 3 times. Could've been 4/5-0.

Ya, but the point was that we had chances too... and got close, so the shutout isn't as bad as it looks IMO.

I've got a little Stalberg love going on in my sig now. Figured it was about time to recognize the greatest Blackhawks player, ever.

I could tell in the post game interview when they brought up him being ran into in the last minute or two, he definitely looked flustered. Like he wanted to whine and complain but was holding back.

I hope someone runs right at Luongo in the first minute of the game. Take a penalty if you have to. But let him know it's going to be a long night.

No doubt, early and often.

I noticed that as well. I'd be very surprised if Q doesn't have someone in his face all night. Then again, I was surprised we didn't have someone down low more than we did Wednesday night...

I now understand that Stalberg is a running joke around here, but to even sign your your name to such an ridiculous statement.. just silly.

The problem with this series is I really believe the Hawks will need to win 2 road games, because they have a horrible time of winning on home ice. I really wish I was more optimistic about this and hopefully the Hawks can steal one in Vancouver, but........

It's weird. Everyone knows what works against the Canucks, yet you watch Game 1 and the Hawks seemed clueless.

Maybe Q just likes to give Vancouver a false sense of confidence with a game 1 win. :lmao:

That's what I was thinking. You've gotta build them up a little before you can completely tear them down. :D

Oh, Stalberg is no joke, son. You think they just give that hardware out to anyone who happens along? I should think not.
