Yes, well you know what you ought to take out of a game like this - and it doesn't matter what the score ends up being ...

but the plain and simple fact is that a hockey game is 60 minutes long.

Also I find it fascinating that some guys, well one in particular, can come in here and let it all hang out... then when something turns around -- just PFFFFFT is gone.

Which basically screams out TROLL -frankly I find it to be BS.

I have high enough blood pressure as it is without the Blackhawks sucking at the start of every game to then turn it around magically in the 3rd period like the game is played on a Hollywood script.

If the Blackhawks didn't play flip-flop hockey, I wouldn't have a flip-flop attitude.

Don't really feel like analyzing the game too much, but you have to like how the Hawks really brought it offensively in the 2nd and 3rd. What more can you say about Toews that wouldn't just be redundant?

Frolik played a nice game. Nice forecheck.

Still hate to see so many goals being put on Crawford, but this was still a satisfying 2 points. Damn glad it got done in regulation too.

D - fwiw, I was talking about someone else... and in honour of that guy I was considering changing my own av, and make a giant sig of Wayne Gretzky because I doubt Sid the Kid will ever actually rate drying off 99's cup ...

I do understand about the rapidly changing nature of a game, as well as the blood pressure - it goes with the territory and is what makes the game and sport great.

Aside from that, sucking is actually a Chicago sports' tradition (with a few notable exceptions - such as the 90's Bulls). Anyways, mate, no harm no foul... and definitely not you I was meaning.

Nah I'm cool, it's just I've been watching every Chicago sports franchise for as long as I've been alive and I've lived abroad most of my life which involves being awake very late at night.

I take my sport seriously and no fan from any other city has to go through the heartbreak Chicagoans go through every year. I wasn't alive for the 85 Bears and was too young to fully appreciate the 6 Bulls Championships.

Watching the start of this game, seeing Anaheim go up 2-0 straight away and the Hawks just getting pushed off the puck is so frustrating. I wish we we're more consistent. I'd much rather have a 3 game winning streak and then lose a game then go on a 6 game tear and then lose 4 in a row.
