Looks like Steen and McDonald might be out for the Blues on Thursday night.

Love watching a healthy Andy McDonald, unfortunate that he can't stay that way.

St. Louis is without their entire 2nd line. At full strength, this is a team that can give the Hawks a multitude of problems. But with an entire line out, I think that's going to be enough to put the Hawks over the top. 3-2 Chicago.

Stay out of the fucking box tonight, please. St. Louis has the best power play in the league.

So early in the game, has there been a faster one in the league this year?

Well it certainly wasn't due to being ineffective or being shelled when he hadn't allowed a goal, all it could be...

Another solid victory... Its starting to get ridiculous!

Great team effort.. Emery looked sharp coming off the bench, its a shame he doesn't get credited with a shutout.

Another solid game by Shaw. The more he plays his game (being a pest), the more he gets on the score sheet. Bickell and Shaw are playing really well on that third line. If the Blackhawks had a 2c (Little, Ott, Weiss maybe via trade?) then I would have to believe that Bolland's days could be numbered as a Blackhawk due to the play (and contracts) of Shaw/Kruger.

Absolutely love how the defense is playing. What a difference. I think the goaltending is definitely improved...but the defense is making them look good and helping out in a big way. Blocking shots, clearing the crease, and keeping the offense to the outside. Have to love how everyone on the backend is playing. Goalies are making big saves when they need to.

Wasn't happy with Bollig's instigator last night. I'm not a fan of staged fights or fights where the guys separate and try to get to center ice. If you are that pissed, just go at it. Wasn't a good time to take an instigator and it just wasn't needed from that hit, even if questionable. I still believe that there should be an instigator penalty but there should not be one for dirty hits (hits that bring a penalty). Nothing is worse than having to fight just because you laid a clean hit on someone. There is a time and a place to take an instigator penalty...and I wasn't happy with Bollig's decision last night.

Loved seeing Toews get back on the score sheet last night with a couple of dirty goals.

Have to hope that Crawford is okay and that it isn't related to the concussion (Q said it was not related last night).

A big game against the Blue Jackets tonight. Should be a good one with the Blue Jackets being rested and ready since Tuesday.

This seemed like a pretty easy victory. You could just tell from the get go that the Hawks had this game when 12 seconds in they scored pretty easily with some nice teamwork. I was actually kind of surprised at how the Blues played. Sucks that Crawford had to leave early, but Emery did his thing. Great win.

Just to clarify, Bollig did not receive an instigator last night. They both got unsportmanlikes for dropping the gloves, and Bollig got the extra minor for roughing. Regardless, it was still a dumb penalty.
