Haven't voted against the Hawks yet, not going to start now...but, this is definitely the game that I can see them losing out of the next five or so. Should be a good game regardless. Hopefully Crow can have another solid outing tomorrow and they can blow out Detroit.

Going to be a tough game for the Blackhawks. Playing their 3rd game in 4 days. Wings are well rested and playing better as of late. Should be a good one. Blackhawks will need speed to beat the Wings, so the first two periods are going to be important because they seemed to get worn down in the third (as would be expected) when they play this many games in so few days.

While the Hawks very well could lose tomorrow, I have to say it is weird to me not fearing the Red Wings anymore. For so much of my life they've been the team, and it is just weird to see them not be in the conversation for top teams in the conference anymore.

Check out my last 50 posts under "my activity" and let me know then. Go look up some DPS/OPS while you are at it.

Seems like I have no problem talking hockey with other people on the board (or on another board where everyone sticks to hockey and doesn't bring me up out of the blue because they are all wet)...as was evident in every conversation where people actually talk about hockey.

way too easy. dps/ops is another way to evaluate a player just like you with the board battlezzzs. its another tool for us hockey fans that like to look more in depth. its not 100% accurate but neither is saying someone is good because they stand in front of the net. you can also believe that im obsessed which is ok with me especially when you ramble on and on about it multiple times. but but myz postszzz historyszzz andsz teh stuffzz

Afraid of a quality conversation where both sides make points and the bullshit isn't involved? A quality hockey discussion was going on about the lines.

Carcillo/Toews/Hossa is a more productive line than Saad/Toews/Hossa. In the stats (while using Carcillo in top 6 last year) and there are plenty of other people that feel the same way I do. Saad isnt producing and isnt helping thise two produce like Carcillo does. Also people disagree and carry a hockey conversation while doing so.

There are three things that need to happen to help the Hawks upend Detroit this morning.

1) Whitesox901 has to call this a "trap" game
2) I have to once again refrain from picking a winner
3) Saad has to replace Carcillo on the first line

Once again you overlook the fact that I talk a lot more than stats when it comes down to Carcillo versus Saad. Not a surprise. Good thing I come here to laugh at you and then talk hockey with others who are willing to hold a conversation. Shouldn't you be planning your retirement party from this site soon?
