I predict we play a mediocre 1st period, take a 2-3 goal lead in the 2nd, let them tie it up in the 3rd period no matter how much of a lead we have and then go to a shootout which we lose, but look really stylish doing it.

I think it should be pretty clear by now that these games are fairly meaningless. Most fans know this. I mean it really blows for the 22,000 that spend big cash to see these games but the bottomline is not how they play in October...it's how they're playing in April & May. They have proven time and again that when motivated to do so, that can win in any arena they're playing in. Winning a Division or a Presidents Trophy does'nt mean a thing.....make the tournament and go from there.

Last year they had the streak going that kept interest up, not this time around so it's gonna be awhile before the interest level gets back up there.

I want them playing better now. So, these games aren't meaningless.

No team wins every game...but it just looks like we are playing very bad hockey right now. It's okay if we get a good seed and make a deep run but I can't look into the future to see if I should be worried atm. :bizarro:
