that now that New Jersey doesn't have the number 1 pick, that LeBron coming to the Chi is more likely but still ... I just don't see it happening. Despite how much sense it does make. It's just one of those "too good to be true" scenarios.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Carolina Hurricanes
  1. Duke Blue Devils
John Wall and LeBron...would have been sick.

Although Rose and LeBron is 100000x that.

Well at the beginning of the year we were looking for a few thing:
1. Will Derrick rose develop into an obvious future superstar
2. Will we have cap room to offer a max
3. Will me make the playoffs/have a good showing
4. Luol deng and/or joakim Noah have a good showing

if all 4 of these happen we should be in great positions for free agency. All 4 of these things happened.

It was good that NJ got the third pick but I wasnt really worried about them ending up with John Wall. If its about winning and its between Derrick Rose and John Wall, there's really no choice. For all anyone knows, Wall could be a bust...or at least struggle for a year or two. And if LeBron is motivated by winning, I dont see a guy with 7 years under his belt and in the prime of his career taking a chance on a rookie when someone like Derrick Rose is there...even if he's friends with Wall.

I see where you're coming from to a degree, Culbertson - I don't want to get TOO excited at this point (I'd be doing handsprings if we got LeBron), but I just think all signs are pointing too strongly this way.

Yeah, like I said almost EVERY sign points to us in the Windy City but doesn't that scare anyone else?

We're just too used to getting our hearts broken. I'll believe it when I see it (like most Chicago fans will), but I just can't get over the overwhelming feeling that he's coming here.
