Lol... Zeke is from the Chi too... and we hated him cos he played w/the enemy, but respected his game. Guess you could say the same for Wade.
That's what I was getting at. Zeke used to sneak into the Chicago stadium as a kid to watch Bulls games. He lived in or near the Henry Horner projects. He became a pariah here because of the Bad Boy Pistons.

Once his career was done, you look back on it and see that he was a hell of a player. Villain or not.

Wade seems to be on a similar road. At least as far as Chicago is concerned.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Nebraska Cornhuskers
  2. Villanova Wildcats
Even to his cousin during the summer of '10. That's why. Fact is though, he's still from Washington Park which is where I'm from. He grew up on 59th & Prairie, I grew up on 59th & Calumet which is one block east of there. .
Funny, when I graduated from Kolmar Jr. High in midlothian with him in 1996, he was growing up in Robbins. Years later, when I was working at the high school he graduated from his brother, an assistant for the basketball team, and I were talking about growing up in the same area.

You're story is a good one, but it's just a story

True but damm how the hell you not wanna play for the Bulls with the windy city assasin?? Thats fine like MJ said I wanted to beat the BEST! It would of been very very interesting to have those 2 calibur players from the city on the bulls.

Dwyane Wade is right to laugh at Howard. Anyone who thinks Howard decided to opt-in because of "loyalty" is naive.

I have been pointing out from the beginning that the bad guy in this situation is Wade...not Lebron.

You hate Lebron because...he left Cleveland and he dances a lot. But you love Wade...despite him trying to sabotage the Bulls during free agency???

And that is after working for the team??? Why should anybody take YOU seriously as a Bulls fan?

By the way...Dirk has disliked Wade for years...no problems with Lebron...just saying...

I hate both

wade turned his back on chicago....he sold out

I love this thread.

**** Wade.

"Loyalty hahahahahaha"

Guess what, most of your loyal Chicago supporters feel the same way towards you. Loyal no more.

Yes, and yes.

Wade is a sellout and a traitor to Chicago. I have no respect for anyone who turns their back on their roots.

Wade stayed with the team that drafted him. I respect that but I don't appreciate how he bad-mouthed the Bulls' FO and mislead them into thinking he would sign with them.

Wade is right to laugh at Howard. He has handled this situation idiotically. The reason he went back to Orlando for another 365 days (at most) was to make himself look like "the good guy" and to make bank (next year is the highest paid year of his contract). What a great guy for opting in to a deal. Next year, he is ultimately going to leave Orlando and go to a different market for branding reasons.

Wade started showing some douchy shit since the "superteam" started. Mostly that shit mocking Dirk in the Finals. So glad they got whooped. I used to like Wade, but now with how he acts I can't decide..... He's still a baller though no doubt.

I see it as

Wade = The Emperor
LeBron = Darth Vader (which sort of makes me think that he will eventually live up to his billing as "the chosen one" and eventually through Wade down a long shaft and go back to Cleveland to bring back balance to the league).
Chris Bosh = Jar-Jar Binks (although he can pretty pretty emo-rific like Anakin).

Good analogy.

Honestly, lebron should've never left Cleveland. He had as good a shot as any to win there. He has a slightly better shot to win in Miami, but it isn't set in stone.
