I will be sending this out via email to everyone, but wanted to post this here as well.

My leash is 913-687-9905 if you need to get hold of me. Please send any emails to skatewithbob@gmail.com.

We will be on the road tomorrow (FrI)

Welcome to Have A Skate With Bob and The Rockford IceHogs presented by Humana!

Here is what you will need to know about Saturday's activities.

PLAYERS - Players will enter through Security on church Street beginning at 12:30.. It is about the middle of the block on street level. Robbie will give you a waiver to sign and give the allstars their sweater. Please save us a headache and get checked in by 1:15 You will see signs directing you to the dressing rooms. Grab a sticker for you helmet while you're at it.

Our team has 20 players dressing, as everyone will not want to take a regular shift..

SUPPORT- PanCAN, Chemo Cargo, Auction, and game staff volunteers, please enter through security anytime after 12:30. Robbie will give you a badge and a Skate tshirt as a thank you.

PLAYERS TICKETS - Players will receive their Hogs' tickets when checking in. I am debating on providing some beer/soft drinks up there. Quite frankly, $88 for a case of beer and $60 for a case of soda is more than a little excessive in my eyes. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

FANS- Fans need to have a ticket, and will enter through the main entrance (corner of Elm and Main) beginning at 1:05 pm

RECEPTION/IN AND OUT - Everyone is invited to the celebration at Hog Heaven ( 3rd level). Skate has made arrangements for 85 meals, donations are requested to offset this cost. Please let the players and those who have reserved food have the first crack at it. There will be a cash bar. You can leave the building after the Skate game BUT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BACK IN UNTIL 6 PM WHEN THE GATES OPEN FOR THE HOGS' GAME

T SHIRTS- A limited number of Skate tshirts will be available for purchase for $10 each.

KIWI BAR - Located on the corner of Elm and Main. Stop by after the game to celebrate our success and tell Jody you're with Skate!

I think that's all for now.

Thanks for the info again Bob, all of this has been such a great experience, are you even going to have enough energy to play! hahah...

Unfortunately, I can't leave my place in the south loop till 11:30, I drive fast but I don't think I'll be able to make it there till closer to 1:15. How big of a problem is that? My wife has an appointment she has to be at that morning. Google says 1:49 from my house to the parking lot, but I dont' drive that slow, but traffic could also swing it. I honestly don't know how long it's going to take me.

You should be ok. Just drive safe. The game will still be there.

Masshavoc...take your time. Should have more than enough time to get gear and on the ice with everyone else.
