I've got an idea for an invention that I'm pretty sure will change the world. Just not sure what to do w/ the idea.

Anyone ever used inventhelp or anything like it and know of the success rate?

(btw, if I do indeed change the world, CCS becomes a really, really nice(r) site)

Is this a useful invention? Or like that time in Married with Children when Steve invented the "99 cent coin", completely forgetting about tax.

Back when I invented the Kiddie Carwash, they helped me a great deal!

Seriously though, they are a joke. You need a decent patent attorney and pitchman/woman to get anywhere these days. Those people don't work at InventHelp, just the rejects go and work for them. I know people who have went through a number of places like this. One friend of mine spent close to $800 to get the paperwork alone done(which would be a steal if it were only that simple), only to find out that the agency itself failed to do it's job, and later they found out that his idea was already taken and he had to go to court. Tread lightly my friend, and seriously, good luck with whatever it is X.

I agree with this. Plus, I'm really skeptical of infomercials and any ads that are on TV. Especially that fucking shakeweight. :shifty:

You know, all you need to do, to make your own shake weight, is buy a PVC pipe, 2 caps, seal 50% glycerine/glycol inside with some sand, and you get the same resistance.

You can has your shakeweight, and nobody will know it LMAO. Too bad they work for shit!

Haha, it really does. I wouldn't be one to try it, but I'd watch a girl use it all day. :D
