I just recently moved into the 21st century and got a smart phone. Now that I have one. I am baffled by what possible more you could want a phone to do.

I just got a $130 Kyocera touch screen with android (the selling point is its water proof, I have accidentally washed every phone i have owned).

The things I have found uses for.

1. it is actually far more convenient and quick to check my email on my phone than getting on the computer.

2. It comes in handy, having conversations away from any internet source if you want to look something up or need a map.

Thats really about it, because if I am out and about I cant think of anything else, and at home, i would far rather use my pc or laptop.

At home, of course, pc/laptop or tablet are far better than a phone. When out and about it's also great to have an internet source as a time killer. I also use mine as my mobile music source as well as for gps tracking on outdoor runs.

I think I am the one weird guy who has never put any music on his phone ever. I just don't buy digital music, even when I do buy music I buy the CD. I have Pandora on my phone if I want to listen to music, or I listen to my audio books, but I never got into needing a phone with a 250gb hd so that I can fill it with songs I never have time to listen to.

I have an MP3 player. but its basically a car stereo. My car has a USB port, so I hook my MP3 player up to it and control it with microsoft sync. So unless im putting new music on it, it pretty much stays in my car. Technically I dont even think I need an MP3 player, I am pretty sure I could just stick in a thumb drive with MP3's on it, and it would work just the same, as the the cars software is what is playing the mp3's.

Yeah, smartphones are becoming the computers for the great unwashed.

Really though, i'd have to ask a budy that works for Apple about the Iphone, but really I've seen no real reason to get one since i don't want that peach of malware known as itunes on my computer when I transfer my mp3 store. It's why I went with droid. That and the droid was cheaper than the windows phone.

I will be getting a new phone soon. I have a droid 2, and I am overall happy with it. I also bought the insurance. A fools deal, you say? I have replaced my phone 5 times. I am just that hard on them. I never dropped it in a toilet, at least not yet. I drop it every now and again, but it isn't horrible.

I will be getting another droid phone. It isn't because I am anti Apple or iPhone, I just don't have a need for the iphone, and I don't have or want to spend 600 or 800 bucks for a phone. I kinda like the Galaxy S3. It looks big enough for my hands anyway.

I dont have any on mine but thats mostly because I find the volume levels on my phone when it comes to media really unsatisfying no matter what headphones I use. I prefer my ipod for music because of louder output. Also find it too large to carry around as a music player.

Anyone who has seen my fb page has seen my cell phone which I created out of an older iphone and a samsung galaxy and one of my German switch blades. I personally loved it and it multiplied my features and I got the best out of both worlds. But people were laughing at me so I no longer use it

I'm sorry... oddly, I get the knife, but why do you have two phones?

I agree, Mr. Mule - from the pics, I guess I'm having a hard time seeing what the phone is connected to and what the other "phones" purpose is.

I got the 4S a few months back and I'm actually glad I did because I still have access to all the cheaper accessories... the only thing I might have considered is being able to have 4G LTE, but honestly, most of the time I'm on wifi anyway, so it doesn't really affect me all that much. I pondered going the Droid route, but personally, I just wanted an easy phone that had access to most of the apps and functions.

I used the iphone for media and the samsung for actual communications. The knife was for cutting cheese and bread and bitches who talked trash about my megaphone 2000. I could also have two windows open at once if I were surfing the web (do people still say that?). Also two cameras at one. I could take a picture of what was infront of me and what was behind me at the same time. Great for private eye type shit or perv shots on the beach. Plus i could have all the aps only available in iphone and those on samsung. Double phone gaming also. Double almost everything.

Im telling you it was awesome but no one shared the same feelings as I did. I was laughed at but I bet iphone 6 is a copy of my megaphone 2000. And you gotta admit that Cobra switch blade is sexy!!! Germans make a sexy switch blade.

Im better than anything before durring or after Steve Jobs!!! I look better in black turtle necks also.

HAHA, interesting.. I get the knife honestly, I guess it just has been a really long time since I have had a phone that couldn't do everything I needed, and double if needed. To each it's own, but the ****** is huge.
