Awesome, the U.S. found a buyer for that crappy development program from the '60's. Wonder what the specs are for altitude, speed, range, armament, etc.

Wow, really? Cause I'm pretty sure people have been using float planes for the last 75+ years and that's really all this is. I'm sure the craftsmanship is subpar so it should only be a matter of time before a fuselage/hull leak, whatever you want to call it, completely fucks up the avionics and one of these things crashes into the side of a mountain.

It looks like those things are designed to skim just above the water. I'm going with Kamakazi/suicide machine.

1) I think Kim Jong Il is d-bag #1

2) The ticker on FOXNews called him A-Jad today. I don't know how I feel about this.

They have a pretty significant wake so they have to sit in the water, they look like they're skimming because that's an effect of the lift on the wings. I could explain this theory a lot better but not even aviation enthusiasts like myself like reading or typing about aerodynamics.

Oh, as if some here wouldn't know what a WIG effect is.

Funny how Iran wants to work on nuke technology and came up with a squadron of water/air craft that could do absolutely nothing but cruise the Southern border of their country in the Gulf of Oman.
