no, but I think he is an excellent player and if he worked on defense he could be.

absolutely not

thrives in a run n gun offensive system

not a great rebounder

poor defender

good player no doubt

but he isnt a top 10 player

Well he is going to that exact system he thrives in.

Is he worth it to pay him, no, but so what he is the one who got to the point he can be paid that price, so go for it.

Value is relative. To the Knicks he is worth that amount of money so they can start rebuilding that franchise. To us, no he isn't worth it as we already have a good nucleus in place and aren't in a position to have to overpay for players.

he is if he was going to a team that was only a Big Man away from contending for a Championship, but if he is going to New York by himself then NO he WON'T be worth it

If it comes down to paying that much for him or striking out, I'd say he's worth that money.

Amare is absolutely not worth that kind of money. The Bulls won't win a championship with him as our main guy... I don't think any team could.

He's not as explosive as he used to be, and it's only going to get worse after those 2 operations on his right knee. He is one poke of his eye away from possibly ending his career. Plus, he's not that good. I dont even think he's very far (if at all) behind Chris Bosh. I just don't think either player is that good.
