Is anybody else still a little nervous with Cody attempting field goals?

I am just a little worried about this guy -not 100 percent sold on him yet. I have patience and I am willing to give him every opportunity, I guess I have to see him hit some clutch 45 yard fields in crunch time. It might not even be him but the parade of bad players at that position before him that has made me jittery. I had a bad feeling in the Arizo4a game with him. I understand not all field goals are made. I just don't want 30 yard ones pulled right. The bears are not always going to score 58 points. I want him to do well.

I'm worried about Mitch hitting wide receivers that are too wide open.

He has easily earned some confidence in his leg by now.

No, not really. Of course, the shorter it is the better I feel, even when Robbie Gould was the kicker. Parkey has a really strong leg on kick offs. I think so far has hit all field goals but one.

Well we ran Robbie Gould out of town simply because he said he wanted to feed his family. The new guy though is the best since.

Having earned almost $30 Million as a kicker, I don't think they're eating ramen noodles...

Sure. You always worry each field goal. That worry increases the further away the field goal. It’s natural. Happens almost no matter who your kicker is.

I am. Parkey sucked in the preseason but he seemed to have shaken that off. I’d still rather have Robbie.

Slightly, but only because the Bears kickers over the last few years have been awful.

I'm not totally confident. Contrasting to Gould's best years, Parkey's kicks are less consistent. They are sometimes low or wildly veer left or right barely squeezing through the upright. With that said, 9/10 is a good start for the season. But I'm chewing my fingers off if the game comes down to his leg in the final seconds.
