I like this little revolution.

Why can't all rookie contracts be fully guaranteed?

Outside of the Top 20 picks, these contracts are peanuts for the financial juggernaut that is the National Football League. I would much rather a fourth round linebacker see every dime of the contract he worked most of his life to sign than blow millions of dollars to let Kendrick Lamar accuse Drake of sex crimes during the most watched game of the year.

Burden is clearly not going to be the p[layer to set a precedent. The Bear may or may not accommodate him but he was a luxury pick that they could live without for a bit.

Obviously I want all 3 in on time but if there is one that the Bears could afford to be without for a bit it is Burden. We need Trapilo & Turner to get into camp as soon as possible.
