That's a question that will be answered pretty soon. So far they've annihilated their competition en route to a perfect 8-0 record in the postseason. They are focused, driven, and all on the same page on both ends of the floor. It's O'Brien Trophy or bust with this group.
Despite all this, I still feel they've not fully been tested yet. They beat up a Piston team that was already on vacation, and a Hawk team that was horribly banged up. On the flipside, the Lakers faced a Jazz team that always plays them tough, and the Rockets, who were much better than a 4th seed when Yao was healthy. The blowouts LA endured planted a seed of doubt in many people's minds that LA was not driven enough to win a championship. I think that's bull. The Rockets were a tough matchup regardless, and got their leads because of big 1st quarters that LA couldn't recover from. The problem with LA is their lack of physicality on the court, which will be put to the ultimate test against the Nugs. Where's Ronny Turiaf when u need him?
I like the Cavs, alot, but this Magic series is going to be a real challenge, since the Magic have essentially owned them the last 3 years. If they can sweep the Magic or win in 5, and do it the way they have in the previous rounds, then I'll be ready to call them legit. Either way if LA beats Denver, which I think they will, they are the hands down favorites to win it all in my eyes.
