I haven't seen any articles about this topic online or in any of the hockey magazines I subscribe to, but he's my favorite Hawk and has been ever since I started watching them (6 years ago)

I think Keith is AWESOME. I think he gets his THIRD Norris this year and probably Con Smythe too if Toews and Kane never show up in the Finals. Crawford is aight, but Keith has played more minutes than any player in the ENTIRE NHL this season.

Personally, he's a first ballot shoe-in, but that's just my opinion.

Be interesting to hear opinions of people that are more diehard hockey fans in general (I'm only a Hawks/Rangers fan at this early stage in my fandom)

Cool discussion only bros. No trolling please!

No dman that has won 2 Norris trophies is NOT in the HHOF.

Keith is about to win his THIRD and another Cup.

HOFer no doubt.

He deserves his own wing. Decorated with bull skulls and the flesh of other blueliners he devours.

Keith = Shoo In!

Is Keith up for the Norris this year?

Thought it was Subban, Doughty and Karlsson.

Conn Smythe is Keith's if Hawks win, though I thought Crawford would get it in 2013.

Yah no keith on the ballot this year but he will be again. Karlsson and subban cant touch keith yet but they did have good reg seasons. Hedman would have been on the ballot had he not had a few injuries this year.

Bullshit.

It's down to Keith or Hedman. Luckily Hedman had an injury earlier this year. Think Keith gets his 3rd Norris.

The votes are already in... and the top 3 are Doughty/Subban/Karlsson for Norris this year. All the good candidates got injured. I'd still rather of given it to Giordanno even though he got hurt and missed the last quarter of the year.

Duncans will easily be a HOFer, he is no Randy Caryle or Doug Wilson... the only two players who were Norris winners that aren't HOFers (besides current players or 2 recent retirees)

Doug Wilson should probably be in the HHOF, and DEFINITELY should have his number retired at the UC. (especially for taking Niemi so we could resign Hammer)

Keith is going to be a Hall of Famer. The individual and the team awards (Blackhawks and Canada) are going to be plenty to get him in.

In regards to Keith not being on the Norris ballot...he didn't deserve to be there this year. Thought he had another solid regular season, but the three guys that are there are worthy and showed up big in the regular season. Can debate offense, defense, overall, etc but it is what it is. Doesn't mean that Keith isn't the top Dman (or one of) out there, just means he wasn't top 3 in the regular season. Luckily, he is really showing up in the playoffs when it matters.

The only reason he wouldn't be is if they ruled him ineligible for being non-human
