After miami's less than spectacular start, does anyone believe melo is going to be deterred from joining a big 3?
I don't think Melo will have a problem playing with Rose and Boozer. What Melo does on the court really doesn't conflict, and probably will enhance Rose and Boozer's offensive attack. Unlike the Heat, the Bulls will still have team balance if they go for that third star.
The problem with the Heat is very simple. No matter how many stars is on a roster, the key to team success will always be team balance. I think they will improve when Miller returns and give the team another 3 point shooter. But that team will not be as good as they should be until they get a couple of productive centers on their roster. The Heat are dying for a couple big bodies that can rebound, block shots, and bring a overall physical presence on the court. If they don't get that and maybe one more shooter, the Heat will continue to struggle.
i meant us. Rose and boozers aren't elite stars, but rose is growing into something spectacular. If he can get his efficiency to go up, and i think it will with the arrival of boozer and a starting sg. We'll have rose and booze taking a lot of good shots, could we add a third elite scorer to that list and maintain good chemistry/efficiency?
Miami is having a hard time doing it. Boston seems to do seamlessly. LA is an efficient/amazing team; but pau/bynum seem to pout at times.
