Like I said in the chatbox, I'm monitoring the server loads, bandwidth, page loads for 24 hours to see what can be improved with the chatbox and if it's feasable to keep it on the mainpage.

So far, the stats haven't demonstrated any good reason to take the chatbox off the homepage.
HOWEVER, and this is the big issue. When we have high volume days, it might have to be taken off the mainpage, but remain accessible from the navbar/donors forum.
Also, the sample size might be too small. So none of this is final. Believe me, I think nearly everyone prefers the chatbox on the mainpage, including myself.
