Is the CHT keeping Captain Toews out in retaliation for voting against playing the rest of the season?

Captain Toews was one of two CBA representatives to vote against playing the rest of the season. Let me just take a moment to say how great Captain Toews’s leadership is. The fact that he was willing to give up potential future accolades in exchange for the safety of his teammates, fellow NHLers and humanity as a whole is really uplifting and encouraging during these trying times. It’s a stark juxtaposition from a certain dorky dweeby fratboy who is the supposed leader of another team in this city who’s silence is deafening.

Anyways, the Chicago Hockey Team (CHT) recently declared Captain Toews as unfit to play. The timing of this is very suspect. While the CHT did deem him unfit to play before the news of Captain Toews voting against playing the season came out, it’s probable the CHT knew about this before the rest of us did.

Personally I think that the CHT did deem him unfit to play because of this. Money has always been priority #1 for the owners of the CHT and Captain Toews’s vote stood to cost them a lot of it

what is this? a refusal to use the teams Black hawk name so we do not forget the efforts of the native americans in our region?

If anything, I kind of wanted the guys in our room to educate themselves on what was going on, to the best of their ability and ultimately make their own decision.

"But deep down, I wanted guys to really think about voting yes. That’s where I stood. So I don’t know where that came from and maybe who gave him the impression that I voted no."

There’s not a doubt in my mind that the CHT forced him to make this statement.
