Is the flu going around?

I feel like complete crap today. Stomach ache, bad #2s, horrible smellin gas and little bit of body aches and chills. Really tired too. Does anyone know if the flu is going around or something? It's not awful but I definetly fel like crap.

The hospital I work in had to convert a bunch of rooms on a step-down unit into extra ICU beds with ventilators to handle all the thirty somethings that went into respiratory failure. You probably just have some GI virus or something but if you spike a high temp don't **** around - go see a doctor. Also, not that it guarantees anything, but did you get the flu vaccine this year?

I've never gotten the flu vaccine and haven't had the flu since grade school. I did manage to get bronchitis last year though.

It's a personal choice. I always get mine in October as soon as it's available but I would never harsh on someone who decides not to.

My father won't stop giving me shit about not getting a flu shot... Its not that I'm against it, I just don't feel like taking the 5-10 minutes to go get it.
