I saw this Ben Gordon quote in KC Johnson's article on the trib site just now.

"I'm going to a situation now where winning is the No. 1 priority. I'm happy with my decision."

Is he taking a shot at uncle Jerry there with the whole "winning is the #1 priority" comment?

Considering the luxury tax issue. Not only with BG himself but with Pau Gasol two years ago.

It's a well deserved shot at Reisdorf! Honest to god, this guy is such a ****** he told me he wasnt going to sign Gordon at my sisters graduation! I thought he was joking! He was being serious. He really is a jackass!

It's hard to support a team that doesn't support you back.

No he was a douch. I said "Hi Mr Reisdorf, I am a huge fan nice to meet you" (i said this as we were walking out), I said, "you gotta do me a favor and get lu and ben locked up" and he responds "lu not ben" and walks away.

It was at this moment I saw into the mans soul....it was dark....very very dark....

Its a well deserved statement. I question their commitment to winning beyond the BG debacle.

Everyone in that organizations want to win besides Reinsdorf. He barely even let them acquire Salmons and Miller

What shocked me the most is he had the balls to say that to me. I'm some dumb fan saying 'sign this guy!!!" and he had the gonads to say "Not Ben!"

Yup. Rumored not to have been willing to do a PJ Brown sign and trade to get Gasol, rumored not to want to pay Amare Stoudemire, and now letting Gordon walk. Trading Tyson Chandler after signing Ben Wallace.

Trading Tyson was a smart move, he was a bust and look even NO is trying to move him.

New Orleans is trying to move him because their franchise is located in New Orleans, which has caused the franchise to have major money problems...and they need to dump Chandler, because their team actually does have a money problem.

That and he is constantly hurt. He has 2 good years in his whole career.

Ya I miss Tyson 8 rebounds a game. By the way the Bulls were never given a chance to do PJ Brown S and T because Grizzles accepted their offer, owner nixed it, never told the Bulls and the Lakers got Gasol

Tyson has missed significant time in only 2 of 8 seasons in the league. I hardly call that constantly hurt. He is also well liked in NO and both Paul and West were really angry and stunned to hear he was traded. Also per 36 Tyson has only had two subpar years. The rest are pretty close to a double double.
