Is VDN a good defensive coach?

I always thought he was brought here as an offensive coach when we couldn't get D'Antonio.

However, the Bulls D has been pretty good. I am not sure if this is a combination of Noah improving, starting Gibson, starting Kirk, or if VDN is actually a pretty decent defensive coach.

I have to say though, the end of NO game was one of the worst. It looked like 2 high school teams trying to execute on offense.

However, a win is a win so I am not complaining.

Isn´t Pete Myers the one who coaches the Bulls defensively?

deng has been pretty consistent on D as well this year. i think the defense has more to do with the added effort of deng and the major improvement of noah, throw in taj and tyrus (taj is a better positional defender, tyrus is an excellent shot blocker, put them together and you have one excellent defender)

not sure how much defense vinny coaches though
