Can't log into my account with my MacBookPro. Have no issues logging in with Vaio laptop or another laptop I use, but for the last week when I try to log in with the Mac, it doesn't allow me to, even if I have the website send me a new password. Never had this issue with the Mac before. I've emailed the webmaster twice, but no response so far.

Thanks in advance for any help, advice, etc.

I have a Mac. Never had an issue logging in. Have you shut it down and restarted it and everything? I have only had one issue with my mac and that was not allowing me on certain sites randomly. It lasted like an hour. I could go to Facebook, CCS, and stuff like that but I couldn't go to ESPN, Bovada, and things like that. Maybe thats what you are running into.

Thanks for your reply. I've never had an issue logging in until a week ago, or so. I've restarted, shut it down, etc., usually log in from the Hawks page, but have tried it from the Bears page, and the forum home page. After I try to log in, a page pops up that says my log in failed and I've used 1 of 5 attempts, then 2 of 5, then 3 of 5, etc. I've tried changing my password, too, and can always log in to my Vaio laptop, but for the last week, no access to the forum pages on my Mac.

Have you tried emptying your cookies and browser cache, and/or flushing the DNS?

Just emptied my cookies and browser cache. restarted it, but still keep getting a VBULLETIN MESSAGE. Went to the applications, then from utilities to the Terminal, had a phrase that was supposed to flush the DNS, entered my admin password, then got a message that if proceeded any further that I might erase or lose information, data, etc. I aborted cuz I'm a luddite and I didn't want to **** anything up. The login to CCS is the only thing not working on my Mac, as far as I can tell. Very frustrating.

What VBulletin message are you getting?

What command did you type?

Flushing the DNS will cause no more harm than clearing cookies.

Are you accessing from the same IP with both computers? Might be an anarchonanny filter?

Bad bookmark? Has nothing to do with being a mac. Safari, chrome, firefox, konquoror, opera, ie, edge, vivaldi, palemoon all render and load the site the same. Only severely outdated internet explorer is no longer supported because I dropped the javascript libraries that are compatible earlier in the year.

Whatever it is, it's on your end. DNS cache could be it, although the DNS hasn't changed in years. zach and rush use MacOS, so if there was any apple specific issue, I'd hear about it. And I run linux, bsd, win, osx, and morph(modern amiga os). Any compatibility issues outside of that box would be considered the "cracks" that someone may fall into.

Good luck, and hope you figure it out.

Only other things I can think of are a corrupt user folder in your browser, a stuck key while logging in, caps lock, etc. The corrupt user folder being the more likely.

Try another browser if you haven't, just to see if it's browser specific.

I couldn't log into a craigslist account on a laptop. Tried everything except another browser , and after not wanting to spend too much time with it, I just uninstalled the browser (Frirefox), user files and all, and reinstalled. No worries after.

Was just going to say that, just less in-depth ;)

On my macbook now in Google Chrome with no issues. Flushing the DNS sounds like it may garner the best results.
