I wouldn't expect much from Olt. With Bryant at 3B and Denorfia in RF/LF he is a down grade to both.
Olt is probably more interesting off the bench than Herrera at least as a hitter.
Olt is limited to 1B/3B. He is not going to see action.
Exactly. ..Sure he will. You don't have to have him play the field. And even if you do you can always juggle around Bryant to a corner outfield spot in later game double switches. Olt is generally considered a better glove at 3B anyways. Herrera is hitting .228/.241/.263 on the season and has no power to speak of. Simply put, you want him for his glove not his bat. At present time they have to rely on both because their bench is Baxter, Ross and him. Olt improves that.
