A HUGE win against the Red Wings tonight, but Dallas isn't going away easily. We need at least one point or a Dallas loss.
Which do you think is more likely to happen?? :nervous:

Since SJ lost tonight, DET do have something to play for (they did tonight, but it mattered not) on Sunday.

Get a damn point.

For some reason I like the 'Hawks chance of winning again, especially if the 1st line plays well again. They bullied the Wings for the majority of the game. It was incredibly fun to watch if you were a Hawks fan.

It's very possible. Minnesota might be somewhat of a disappoint, but I think they'd feel very good about knocking a team out of the playoffs. That's all they have to play for now.

They would be in the playoffs already had they not shit the bed vs the fucking Oilers TWICE on home ice.

Expect the Wings to bring a better effort.

Tonight's(or last night's) game was incredibly entertaining, but that's because I was a 'Hawks fan. I am leaning towards a win Sunday too because of the 1st line finding itself again with the return of Sharp. Other lines helped out as well!! You can't imagine how happy I was to see that.

There were plenty of blown games this season. Example:All the 3rd period gaffs. But that's in the past now. The team has more confidence and meaning going into the Sunday's game. Detroit will come with Vengeance but the 'Hawks are at home. How awesome would it be if they won it in front of their home crowd??!

Where you expect the secondary scoring to come from?

The whole season I wasn't expecting any secondary scoring. Smith got his 1st goal, so that's a plus. Hossa is on the 2nd line but I would like more 3rd and 4th line scoring. I don't see that coming soon. But just the fact that a person outside the 1st and 2nd scored.

I thought the second line played very well tonight, i like smith, frolik, and kane together a lot of energy on that line.

Kane has been the best Hawk (save Crawf) for the last couple weeks. It only makes sense to put him on a line with lesser players that he can elevate. I can't wait for Hoss, Toews and Sharpie to start clicking..... that would be scary!

I like what they've been doing too, not to down on Frolik at center. The second line has been playing strong the last few games since it's been Kane down there tearing it up.

Toews has been the best player on the team all season long, save the last week. He's struggled to get on the point sheet, but he never fails to leave a presence on the ice. Sharp is just getting back, so I don't expect him to full recover from his injury until the playoffs.

Kane has definitely improved from how he was playing for most of the season though.

Interesting front page when you go to Dallas' website:

Funny how Dallas is embracing the race while the Hawks are quietly crossing their fingers that they can pull this off.
