I don't think this game will even be mentioned by the NFL.

6th time now, 7 penalties on one drive, Lions get ball, Lions score touchdown, NO MORE FLAGS. if anyone didn't think this shit was on purpose.

Unless we're a world-beater, people assume whining. It's so bad. Worse is the lack of speaking up for fear of a fine. Pathetic to sit and take it, take it, and take it. Maybe Flus really doesn't mind the draft pick position game of barely lose each week?

Funny how after nearly every penalty, the announcers said, "yup, that was a clear penalty, that was the right call"
keep crying

Welcome back.

I didn't hear that on Jones Holding in opening drive and on the interception, too.

May I ask you, did you also hear that they mentioned that the fans are upset with all no calls by Detroit?

we might be better off if we put this clown on ignore.

yes @nc0gnet0 enjoy your moral victory over a team that knows and understands what it has to do. Kirk Cousins is still better than Jared Goff, and they're going to be the #3 and #4 quarterbacks in the NFC North soon enough. **** you

I'm just glad the Bears lost... otherwise @nc0gnet0 might not have come back.

What does the future of the Lions look like?

Is Fields still a bust?

The NFC is gonna look very different next year. :)

Oh good, you're back! I was worried about your health (well physical, your mental health isn't in question). Two wins in a row, and I'm sure you're back to offseason form. Fantastic! :ROFLMAO:

Totally a joke that we have to live with this garbage week in and week out with no recourse other than hearing a few days later that the NFL screwed up. That was a game changing interception.
100% agree, I've posted on this several times and got heat for it, folks just want to whine vs. doing something about it, sadly.

Everybody wants the full on tank for draft position, which is fine, but to encourage and accept the one-sided BS calls consistently jobbing our team is pretty weak IMO. It illuminates a larger problem of games not being fair.

How fun will that be next year when the Bears should be contenders and how confident are all these folks that it'll be fair then?? Or do they want to win because of crap calls benefiting the Bears? Really?

No thanks. I prefer a fair (real) contest, win or lose. I want them to crush Rodgers and his stupid face without refs being a factor.

Another team's win stolen by refs last night. Something has got to change. It seems like more and more, the refs decide who wins.

I completely agree, but I don't think the NFL currently cares. Or at least not enough to do anything about it. I think ref cheating/incompetence has always been an issue, but it's getting worse. You'd hope things get fixed soon.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
They already tried being able to challenge pass interference. What ended up happening is that no calls ever got overturned and they stayed with the call on the field.

Its the fucking ref union that needs to be knocked down a peg

First the NFL needs to address a number of penalties and rules. Is someone breathes on Brady or Rodgers (for instance) is roughing the passer. That rule needs consistency. Right behind it is pass interference. The problem is that these inconsistency of the penalties/rules are changing games. They need better referees, too, but that is another subject. Give the coaches one more challenge or have another official in the booth to over-rule obvious mistakes. Or find another solution but the NFL needs to clean this up.

This would be so easy to correct it's disgusting that it hasn't happened.

Put the head official in a press box with a 75" screen and a headset.

OR, mandate they call it like hockey refs; they jack up a call then they get together and agree to balance it by calling it ticky-tack the other way. Aside from egregious play, penalty yards come out more or less even by the end of the game.

I remember a stretch when Trubisky actually looked good too. heard the same then, blah blah blah. Call me when Fields learns how to pass on a consistent level, and doesn't give the game away with a silly pick 6.

Ouch!
