I was real surprised to see Smith pick the Bulls because i listen to his radio show religiously and whenever he talks about the Knicks being contenders, he always mentions trying to beat teams like the Heat, Celtics and even the Magic/Nets depending on where Howard goes.

ESPN has not had a problem giving Rose and the Bulls props...not at all. Many of them thought the Bulls were the second best team in the East, and they were right.

a month and a half before the season was over, he said if the Bulls get the first seed, he'll say Rose deserves the MVP and that he'll give him credit. Then we get the first seed and he says we lucked out because the teams we were facing down the stretch were facing key injuries. wtf? We dealt with injuries ALL year long and we STILL got the fitst seed largely because of Rose!
