Has anybody seen Tron or True Grit. Both great movies for very different reasons but they have one thing in common. Jeff Bridges is phenominal.

No, Tron is amazing. Saw it on IMAX and the visuals and audio blew me away.

I want to see both of those films. But like 3:10 To Yuma,True Grit is also a remake.

No, it's an adaptation of the novel but follows it more closely. It has nothing to do with The Duke's version.

Tron will be favored by fans to the genre. But it does look flashy. True Grit definitely looks like it rocks. Westerns are still rather rare these days, but what has emerged has been really good. 3:10 to Yuma was indeed a great remake imo. Appaloosa wasnt bad either, which came out year or two ago by now. Tho I still like Unforgiven and good ole Wyatt Earp.

It was Heaven's Gate that wiped out the western genre but I agree now that they are so few and far between there's a lot of very good ones. I haven't decided if I like True Grit more than Unforgiven.

Go see The Fighter with Mark Wahlberg and Chrstian Bale, an epic movie.

The Fighter is a must see movie. Christian Bale carries that movie with his acting but the fact that the film follows the true stories of Dick Eklund and Mickey Ward so closely make it that much better.

Tron looks really lame and I have no interest in science fiction movies. I will be seeing True Grit soon, Coen Brothers make great movies.

Amen.

There's a lot of Oscar buzz around this one and I do want to see it. I like Marky Mark as an actor.

You gotta see it, a pretty inspirational movie.

I'm ready to see True Grit. 3:10 to Yuma was also the last I saw.
