This summer, I expect to hear J.R. Smith's name brought up repeatedly in connection with the Bulls. I don't really feel like dealing with Smith piecemeal so I might as well get my feelings out on the table. For those unfamiliar...

J.R. Smith would be a help and would make the roster we have now a lot better. I mean- if we were giving up Kyle Korver and Keith Bogans for him, the team would surely benefit.

But the guy really isn't the answer to play for extended minutes. He often takes bad shots and over-dribbles. I like his defense, but offensively he is extremely selfish. That could help the Bulls at times, but I still don't think he would have been the difference against Miami. He isn't a disciplined enough player.

We could've had JR smith in this last series and at absolute best won one more game against Miami. He's not the answer. He'll just be a problem when we don't win.

Our team needs a replacement for Boozer as well as a SG that isn't going to take the ball out of Rose's hands and take shots away from both he and Deng. Our offense is dependent on that guy making that extra pass to the guy in the corner. I don't see Smith as a spot-up shooter. I see him catching the ball and having tunnel vision instead of hitting Deng for the three in his sweet spot.

Boozer is the main problem for this team and he needs to go if they can get value in-return for him.

Thibbs will make him a more disciplined player garenteed or else he won't play...Jr Smith at this point in his career is hungry for a championship and change of scenery..He will have to adapt to his new enviroment just like anyone else in this league that changes teams...
