Has anybody's opinion changed? Is he an actual starter? Also, what is his contract situation?

No, and or yes.

You can best bet that he will be given every opportunity to win one of the LB spots next offseason. Local kid, no reason for him to leave.

As for his contract, we have him till 2025 for cheap.

He shows terrific instincts, but this entire defense is trash so a lot of tackles don't mean much. Would be interesting to watch him play with an actual dominant front 4.

Starter or first off the bench and undrafted. He has earned a spot on this team. Starter? Not sure just yet.

I feel confident that he will be at least a very good back-up. He's looked good overall. I'd tentatively pencil him in as a starter for next season but not to the point that I wouldn't bring in legitimate competition.

If the Colts let him go, Bobby Okereke seems like a no brainer signing.

Somebody mentioned it in the GT, but he might be our Vander Esch. It doesn't seem like he misses very many tackles, and he's always around the ball on nearly every play.

This is either an example of an average player simply standing out because everybody else around him is god awful, or he's actually pretty damn good and worthy of being considered a starter going into next season.

I think this kids a diamond built from pressure…

UDFA with a massive chip on his shoulder. He’s said to lack athleticism… but he runs at a different speed on the field than he runs on the track.

If Jalen Carter comes to the Bears Sanborn will be an elite player behind him. Carter enhances Sanborn who enhances Eddie Jackson and every other player on that field.

Carter reminds me of N. Suh

6’3” 300 lbs and runs like a linebacker in pursuit.

Jalen and Sanborn can make a great duo inside and outside.

A pass rusher for those 3rd down situations becomes crucial. Hopefully FA we find someone.
