I went to the movies to day to see Noah..(no big deal, nothing to write home about)...But the big news is that there will be a movie made about the life and times of James Brown..."I FEEL GOOD"!!!

I used to go see him when I was a teenager when he played the Regal at 47th and King Dr in Chicago...The man was amazing!..I remember once he opened by doing a 1 legged shimmy across a 75' stage from end to end..The place went wild

Ole...The guitar player for a band called.."mama's baby's" did that guitar shuffle realy well too..They played the "Cheetah" (old Aragon) in the 60s

Yes indeed - very cool time in music history was the musical departure of bootsy and company from James Brown's band and the new psychedelic funk music that was born in that era with parliament, funkadelic, the rubber band etc.
