Not really room for him out there unless he wants to be a 4th outfielder

Sign me up for Kubel. Another left handed bat with pop is needed.

I was thinking about this move with about a 1/4th of the season left. Id like him on south side.

I think it would be a good fit. The only iffy I have is that they base numbers at the cell. Didn't they bring Teahen in because he always hit against the sox?

Why would he take 4th outfielder?

Why would he take 4th outfielder?

Um it's November & we don't even have our OF set.

Lets not hand De Aza the job just because he was good when we were done.

De Aza started in July when we were still in the hunt, and played well all season.

I am a huge fan of Dunn's skill set, but counting on Dunn to be a 3 hitter after last season is asking for trouble for a team that thinks it can contend.

they can contend in that division, does that mean they will be good if they are contending? hell no! i hate this fucking team right now, but if he were added i think the hitting will be pretty damn solid.

dunn in the 3 hole needs to be set right from ST. I cant see how he can repeat those numbers again. he will see a lot of fastballs instead of sliders and curve balls being down in the order.

Dunn needs to hit third from the get go. Konerko offer protection.

Dunn should bounce back. I mean he can't be any worse can he?

Hopefully with the new blood, he'll relax & return to his old form.

Looks like the Twins are going to let him go
Twins GM Terry Ryan tells Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post that Denard Span and Ben Revere won't be traded this winter. Minnesota could lose both Michael Cuddyer and Jason Kubel to free agency this offseason.

Ramirez has never even had an OBP over .333 and his career on base average is .328; AJ rarely gets on base as well. You want at least one guy to get on for Konerko (plus Dunn if he bounces back like most of us think and Quentin if he isn't traded).
