Jay Z should be careful with stuff like that, because if the league catches wind of it and determines it to have an impact on whether the player decides to sign with the team, it could impose a stiff cap hit on them. Reinsdorf tried the same thing with MJ and his real estate dealings in the early late 80's-early 90's, but the league said to put a stop to it unless they wanted to take a huge cap hit.
