The Hawks sent Morin back down again, I do not understand why. He still can play in 4 more games before he loses a year off his entry level contract and with Kane and Hossa down we really need him. I would expect Ben Smith to be recalled along with possibly a look at Kyle Beach.

Also, Adam Jahns said on twitter that the American World Junior team is making selections tomorrow and he was on the team last year.

Jesse Rogers also said it's a money saving thing since it is a light week.

I am not worried but we are really thin in the top six now without Hossa, Morin, and Kane. Stan Bowman has said that Morin, Leddy, and Beach will all most likely stick with the team after the trade deadline, I knew it was a financial decision. I just don't like the timing of the whole deal.
